Benefits of using Tradeshift

  • Tradeshift is free for suppliers to send invoices and credit notes

  • Upfront validation rules ensure correct invoice data entry at the time of sending, resulting in fewer invoice returns/rejections. (Validation rules for Org Id, invoice/credit note number, invoice date, PO number/100% PO/XX Ref)

  • Even quicker invoice processing times.  Tradeshift invoices are pulled direct onto the NHS SBS system every 10 minutes, so no more scanning. (Supplier Status updates are pulled from Oracle overnight into Tradeshift – but invoice is on Oracle same day of sending)

  • You will receive status updates on invoice progress which reduces the need to phone or e-mail NHS SBS to enquire about their invoice. (Supplier will receive status update that invoice Delivered, and as invoice progresses through system these status’ are updated – giving suppliers daily visibility of the status of every invoice)

  • It will save suppliers money by eliminating associated costs due to postage, envelopes, printing and paper

·         Will enable both the supplier and NHS Organisations to move further towards a positive green agenda way by decreasing carbon footprints in relation to invoices

The refreshed scheme will provide the much needed financial and practical support doctors have said they want to help them return to work in the UK.

NHS England, New Care Models team have shared information from North East Hampshire and Farnham vanguard as an example of non-elective demand management.

The North East Hants and Farnham (Primary and Acute Care System) Safe Haven project at the Time Out Café provides a real alternative to attending A&E for people experiencing a mental health crisis, and focuses on helping people to develop self-management skills to break the cycle of crisis. Evaluated independently, it has been shown to have reduced acute psychiatric admissions locally by 33%. The model is cheap and quick to set up and can be easily replicated across other local health systems.
